Love LocaL Donation Program
Want Lewis Jewelers to donate to your favorite local charity/beneficary at no cost to you? For the past 77 years Lewis Jewelers has been supporting our broader community through donations, sponsorships and volunteerism. We are now excited to announce we are implementing a new an improved approach to donating called the "LJ Love Local" program!
What is the Love Local Program?
We are giving all eligible local charity/beneficiaries a donation on behalf of you, our customer, when you make a new purchase!
How DOES THE PROGRAM work?
It's easy! Make a purchase from Lewis Jewelers on Main Street Ansonia - nominate the local charity/beneficary you would like to support and we will make a 5% donation of your total purchase price on your behalf. Not 5% of the profits, 5% of the total purchase price*!
If you would prefer to shop online at www.lewisjewelersct.com, write your beneficiary's name in 'add a gift message' at checkout and we will donate the 5% to your nominated charity/beneficary on your behalf.
Who is eligible to receive donations?
All local beneficiaries who have been supported by Lewis Jewelers through donations and sponsorships over the past 75 years are eligible to receive a donation. List of local beneficiaries include but are not limited to:

Valley United Way
Boys and Girls Club
Griffin hospital
Ansonia, Seymour, Derby, Shelton Public Schools
Local Catholic Schools
Local Fire Departments
Local Police Departments
Local sporting clubs
Derby-Shelton Rotary club
Church of the Assumption
Assumption School
Holy Rosary Parish
Three Saints Orothodox church
Seymour United Methodist
Derby Historical Society
Local Library
If your school, church, club or charity etc would like to join the program as a beneficary email lewisjewelersct@outlook.com to receive an application.
HOW DOES THE BENEFICARY RECEIVE A DONATION?
Every quarter we will tally up all donation amounts and send a check to the corresponding beneficary along with the names of the customers.
Will donations be published?
In line with our privacy policy, customers along with their nominated beneficiary will be published quaterly on Lewis Jewelers’ facebook Page/webiste unless you opt out.
What is the power of this program?
We will be working together to strenghten our community through connecting local individuals and organizations - keeping it local.
